Kennady did one more record art piece as a Christmas gift. This one has a line from a favorite song.

Although you kind of need to know the song to understand, it's still pretty.

Here are the earlier projects she tried with these records last summer: Virtual Refrigerator - A New Spin on Art - and earlier in December she did a couple of the snowglobe theme records.

Okay, then for Christmas, we got Kennady this bluetooth speaker record turntable. When I ordered it, I assumed it probably only played LPs and 45s. Oh no. It also plays 78s, so now she's been able to play these records from her collection and is now second-guessing how many of them she is willing to "ruin" by painting them!

That's awesome that you were able to find a record player. It might slow down her art but I do think there is something so different about listening to records.

What a neat art project and how fun that you got her a record player! Too funny that now she isn't sure she wants to repurpose the records. Some day I will get around to posting art/craft posts regularly and join your linkup :). IDK if my Bible Journaling art counts????
