Welcome to the Virtual Refrigerator art link-up! Thank you for joining me and my co-hosts as we all share what we're creating in our homeschools. We all cordially invite you to add your link sharing artwork that's on your Virtual Refrigerator and then hop over to the other blogs and admire what's on their Fridges too! The Virtual Fridge link-up is open all month, and we plan our anchor posts for each Wednesday.
Last week Kennady was impatient to get started with Creating A Masterpiece, the art tutorial website we're reviewing with the Homeschool Review Crew. She'd given me the list of supplies she thought she'd need for the first few projects she wanted to try, but I hadn't had a chance to acquire anything yet. She did have pastels and paper (just not exactly the right kinds) so she decided it was close enough, and took a couple of runs at Winter Cabin. The project is intended to be done with oil pastels on velour paper, but not having the right kind of paper, Kennady just rolled with it.
The pastels would blend more smoothly on the velour paper, but this turned out nicely as well. And I wouldn't be surprised if she tries it again when we've got more supplies!

I went shopping yesterday and brought home all kinds of art supplies, so I'm excited to see what she'll take on today!
